During the fairs, Inexmoda, in alliance with the Organization with Experience in Integral Waste Management -Recimed- manage to recover more than 40 types of recyclable materials from the nine tons of waste generated. This material is sold to companies such as Enka and Grupo Familia to transform the waste into usable materials.

Inexmoda raises sustainability as the main topic in the Knowledge Pavilion, a space that consolidates itself as the largest open-access academic scenario in Latin America. This initiative allows us to commit to a more conscious industry by providing sustainable training to students, entrepreneurs, allies, opinion leaders and other actors of the Fashion System.

Sustainability Route
In Colombiamoda + Colombiatex 2023, 50 companies participated in the Sustainability Route, making their sustainable practices in environmental, social and cultural matters visible in categories such as: responsible production and consumption, clean water and sanitation, reduction of inequalities and preservation of heritage, among others.
